In line with our aspirations to increase the circle of arts aficionados  and promote seva through social and cultural activities, Apsaras Arts in collaboration with the Singapore Indian Association is presenting  this charity concert on 1st August 2015 at the PGP Kalyana Mandapam, supported by the Hindu Endowments Board, Singapore.

Singapore's 6th President Mr S.R Nathan has kindly accepted our invitation to be the Guest of Honour at the concert supporting this initiative.

ANUBHAVA  is a combination of a music concert and lecture on the temples in Chennai, Kanchipuram, Chidambaram, Srirangam and Madurai in India, highlighting the different facets of these hoary institutions.

The proceeds from this concert will support TWO worthy causes  “Falling through the Cracks” by Singapore Indian Association and “DEVATA - Friends of Apsaras Arts" program.  An opportunity to support the HEARTS and the ARTS.

Dr. Bombay Jayashri is no stranger to audiences in Singapore, her versatility and repertoire of skills and proficiency in traditional and non-traditional forms of music is, perhaps, unmatched today. She won an OSCAR nomination for the best original song for her lullaby for the move - Life of Pi.
