Call of
the Wild
This dance depicts
the struggle of mankind between ones beliefs and emotions, against
the reality that surrounds pragmatic mankind. The dancers depict Man
and his emotions such as anger, jealousy, lust, greed and miserliness,
which do influence him, incessantly. This creative artwork is set
to a musical piece by Dreamcatchers, a London based music group, which
has experimented with various global music forms.

Traditional Bharata
Natyam movements are creatively choreographed to contemporary music.
This item is an excellent example of the versatility of Bharata Natyam,
in that it can be woven into any music with rhythmic components. Dancers
must have excellent sense of rhythm and melody to suit the musical
refrain of this composition.
7th Heaven
This dance portrays
a scene of paradise where celestial dancers descend upon Earth, dancing
with a beautiful peacock. An highlight of the dance is the use of
bells to bring out the rhythm of the musical composition.

different moves in this unique item. The beauty of the dance is creativley
brought out as dancers remain unrestricted and have the freedom to
follow their heart and body through this meaningful piece of music.
This particular composition brings out passion in dancers, as a sign
of their personal respect for Mother Earth.

It is a dance
choreography fuses modern dance movements with Indian dance movements,
in an effort to expand the vocabulary of Bharata Natyam. Although
it is set to a traditional theme, Womanhood, it takes
on several contemporary twists to represent different facets of a
woman - living; loving; working; nurturing and being a woman, in the
present Century.
