Apsaras Arts Academy provides training in Indian classical dance and music for children and adults. Our programmes encompass Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Carnatic Vocal and Mridangam, with classes designed for different ages and levels.

Learning beyond the classroom

At Apsaras Arts Academy, learning extends beyond the classroom. Since 1977, students of all ages have been given opportunities to experience and participate in live performances, an important part of developing confidence, understanding and mastery of their chosen discipline.

The Faculty

Our teachers are accomplished practitioners and dedicated educators who are committed to nurturing students through their learning journey.
They bring their knowledge, experience and passion for their respective disciplines into the classroom, inspiring students to develop both their skills and a lifelong appreciation of Indian classical dance and music.

A Tradition Since 1977

For almost five decades, Apsaras Arts Academy has nurtured generations of students in Indian classical dance and music.

Over the decades, our graduates have gone on to establish themselves as dancers, choreographers and teachers, with some setting up teaching institutions in Singapore, Australia and the USA.

Our graduates also contribute to the wider community by teaching Bharatanatyam in educational institutions and community clubs in Singapore.
