Festivals and Tours

By most measures, we’re a small dance company. But we’re a small dance company that is well-travelled. It is the high artistic quality of our productions that has helped us punch well above our weight. We’re proud to fly the Singapore flag overseas, bringing our unique approach to storytelling in dance to diverse audiences.

We’ve toured 55 cities in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the UK, South Africa and Turkey, and showcased our works at prestigious festivals across the world.

Rave reviews!

“In a path-breaking production, Agathi attempts successfully to dissect the psyche of a refugee who loses his livelihood, people, nation and ultimately himself to the machinations of man and nature. Fantastic performances by the seven dancers, the professional supporting cast of musicians and technicians from Apsaras Arts made this 90-minute production very meaningful, yet an enjoyable ride!”

FOCUS Magazine, London

“They came, they performed, they conquered.’ This is an apt description of the Singapore-based dance company Apsaras Arts, which recently toured South India. They impressed not only the audience, but also connoisseurs of Indian classical dance forms. The troupe was elegant and professional, and didn’t strike a single note of discord throughout the performance.”

Surekha Kadapa-Bose, Deccan Chronicle, Bangalore, India
