Lishi turned a passion for performing arts into an arts and event management career, capitalising on her skills in artistic collaboration, mentorship, events production and audience development. With a background in life sciences and business management, she has parlayed her meticulous organizational skills and creative vision into over a decade of leading transformative experiences across various art forms and entertainment offerings.
At the NUS Centre for the Arts, Lishi worked closely with both university student arts groups and arts industry professionals in dance, theatre, music, and production services. She subsequently spent almost a decade at the music and F&B powerhouse Timbre Group, making a name for herself as Head of Content (programming), Head of Business Development, and Head of Marketing, often concurrently. She has organized high-octane music festivals, led multi-band, multi-city tours, conceptualized and launched new F&B ventures, and curated intimate performances and community arts intitatives for young audiences.
Lishi deeply believes in the importance of generating value, resources, and business opportunities to support the work of artists and creatives. She relishes the challenge of merging commercial strategy with creative vision, and looks forward to driving the growth and impact of Apsaras Dance Company.
